Very even deal, IMO. Utley is the best player in the deal, and is still kinda young. Although Ichiro and Rivera are up there in age, these guys a the apitome of fitness for athletes in baseball. No worries about them, IMO, for about another 3-4 years.

one of my previous comments from one of the teams vetoing the deal was utley was a top 5-10 player while ichiro is a top 20-30 player while rivera is barely a keeper. any comments

Utley is a much better keeper than either of the other players, but the guy getting Ichiro and Mariano might very well be getting the better deal for the remainder of this year. If you have some reason to believe it is collusion, a veto could be appropriate, but if it isn't collusion should let this one go for sure.
