I actually have a few questions that are driving me crazy and will list them in order of importance. Any help will be much appreciated since I'm having trouble finding answers.
1) Somebody just a dropped a player I want but I am at the bottom of the waiver priority. How can I tell at what exact time this player will be available? It simply says a date (June 7) but is there any way to tell the precise hour when a player will be available? Is this unique to each league and if so where can I check that?
2) When I pick up a player of waivers, I might want him in as soon as possible. Is there a certain hour or deadline hour (say, midnight) after which a ww pick-up will not be eligible to play until the following day? I picked up a player last night around 1am and was surprised to see I can play him today, for example.
3) When a player is sitting on the ww, is there any way to tell if people have made waiver bids to pick the player up and/or who wants this player?
On most days, Yahoo processes waiver claims between 4-6 AM Eastern time. I'm not sure exactly when you can get them plugged into your lineup. Last, you can't tell if anyone has put in a waiver claim. Unless you're the commissioner, I believe. But even if you are, don't cheat. In a league last year my commish took a player off of waivers early to put him on his team. When the other players questioned why he had done it, he said it was because no one had a waiver claim on him. So, don't be a dumb commish.

1) I beleive the time they become available is 12 am PST, however I'm not 100% sure about that 2)It's the same time as the waiver wire players become available 3) Unfortunately, no

2) It depends on your settings. He will be available that day (June 8th) if you are in a Plus league and your setting for roster pickups is "Today", and otherwise he will be available the next day (June 9th).
3) Only by asking them, but you're not going to want to do that.
3. yes...there is a way. to check if a team has a waiver bid, propose your whole team in a trade for their whole team. you will get an error if they have put in a waiver bid. some will call it cheating...but I can't say I havent done it before

wow, that's the craziest thing i've heard. nice loop hole.
Also, if you want to know exactly when it will be processed, put in a waiver request, then view the waiver request and it tells you when the request will be processed and when the player will be available on your roster (probably easiest way since settings of leagues are different)
