He might have potential to be a great closer ....... But with Street (when he comes back) it is not likely that Harden would get the 9th inning Job.
If their intentions are to make Harden the closer what happens to Street ?
I honestly think Harden would be great in the pen and would likely give him a new life in baseball, as far as staying healthy, but Fantasy wise this would be a disaster waiting to happen for my squad, I drafted him as a starter and need him to come back as a starter

I would think Beane will make a move. He made it no secret that Harden is available and someone might take a flier especially if successful out of the pen.

Jun 11 Mychael Urban, of Oakland.Athletics.MLB.com, reports Oakland Athletics SP Rich Harden (shoulder) was throwing at around 90 percent off flat-ground Sunday, June 10, and could join the active roster in a couple weeks.
Relatively good news about Harden? I thought April Fool's Day had already passed...2 weeks = 4-6 weeks anyway...which will probably turn into 2-3 months. Then he'll pitch 2 games and go down...letting the Harden-cycle continue.
But seriously, I have him on my team and it would be great to see him finish with 10-15 starts and be around for my H2H playoffs.
I just made a trade to get him cheap. Like 2 sticks of gum and a box of rocks cheap. I hope he comes back to starting near the end of July. That would give him a few starts to get the cobwebs out before my playoffs, but not give him too much time to injure himself.
He's very, very high risk but still has a chance to be a major fantasy difference maker. You don't get many of those this cheap.
