As a McCann owner, I'm certainly tired of all his off days so they can get Salty AB's. Either move him to first or trade him for the love of my fantasy team.
How do they rate defensively? McCann is better now? Did he always project to be better defensively that Salty? Just wondering if they ever would think of moving McCann away from catcher?
I really hope he gets traded to somewhere he can actually be a catcher. I have him in my dynasty league and if he goes from C to 1B he's useless to me.

As a McCann owner, this really doesn't break my heart. When they started Salty in the first game of yesterday's double dip, we had to figure Salty was gonna get the start in the early game today.
Salty looks really good, but once McCann starts hitting, he won't be much of a factor this year. If only he could take Thorman's spot.

i can't tell what you're trying to say here...
how can Salty be, "an excellent defensive catcher" and also give up 4 SBs today? Do you mean he's a good receiver, just has a bad arm, or are they stealing on the pitcher today, or what? And how will this game get him out of McCann's shadow? Do you mean out of McCann' shadow and out from behind the plate since everyone and their mom is stealing on him, or what? I'm confused by the post, and in general, i'd like to know about his abilities defensively...

Make that 5SB off of 4 different pitchers... it might be Salty's problem...

I meant that while he is rated as a very good defensive catcher(better then McCann), any time you give up 5 SB's it hurts your chances of getting starts there. I meant out of his shadow as in stalking his footsteps, which I realize know was a botched, mixed metaphor.
