Anyone watch this years MTV video awards? It was absolutely aweful. Sarah Silverman was a terrible host and her jokes were way over the top and not funny at all. She basically went up there and just made fun of as many actors as possible. The in between acts were terrible, and they had a fat guy run on stage when speeches got too long. This was just another low point in the station formally known as Music Television...

Their first mistake was making Silverman their host. Why anyone finds her remotely funny is beyond me. I didn't actually watch the show itself, but your comments don't surprise me in the least. MTV is just a joke these days. It has been a joke for so long now, I can barely remember the good old days. Man, what I would do to re-live the days of the original Headbanger's Ball, Remote Control and the like. Ah, memories.

I quit watching MTV a long time ago. When it was music videos most of the time, it rocked. Then it all changed. :-P

It was actually the MTV movie awards. But you're absolutely right, Sarah Silverman pretty much stunk it up. Her show on Comedy Central was bad, her stand-ups were bad, and now we know she should never host an awards show.

I make it a point not to watch MTV. In fact, I programmed my TV to skip that channel when I'm surfing. I most certainly did not watch this awards show.

But I do know this. Sarah Silverman is both hot and funny.

MTV Films actually comes out with some good every now and then, but I can't stand their TV channel. Sarah Silverman and MTV. :-P

Eh the MTV Movie Awards have always been really crappy. This shouldn't be a shock to anyone.

I never watch MTV any more. I love the quote from Lewis Black, "MTV is to music, as KFC is to chicken."
