saving fonts question

what folders do you save fonts and brushes into and how do you open them in the gimp?

The fonts should go into your windows fonts folder...click my computer> local disk C(or whatever your main drive letter is)>Windows>Fonts...then just copy and paste them in.

For the brushes I'm not sure for gimp but for photoshop its like this...maybe the same? go..my computer> local disk c> program files> Adobe> adobe photoshop cs2> presets> brushes...then just paste them in here.

i saved them into the gimp font folder and i cant open them in the gimp

I think that the fonts are probably going to have to be in your windows fonts folder and not in the gimp fonts folder....The brushes..I don't know...sorry.
