What kind of numbers will he put up this year and where would you rank him among other closers?

nobody knows who is closing in Minnesota

Nathan
Romero
Crain

it will be one of those three unless they trade for a closer (unlikely)

I'm hoping for Crain personally!!!

I heard the Ywins were interested in Urbina as well if they can get him for a reasonable price (and he stops shooting guns into the air).

I think Urbina sounds serious when he says he´ll go to either go to Japan or take a year away before signing for less money. He bitched so much when he took a paycut in Texas that i believe him.

I believe him too. I don't see Minnesota offering him anything close to what he wants. Romero was so bad last year that I think they'll use him as more of a lefty specialist than a closer. Nathan has the job now, and if last year is any indication, he will be right up there with the best closers in the AL.

My prediction: 40 saves, 3.30 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 70 K's

Uggy was a rumored target, but at this point you can close the door on that possibility. Pohlad is one of the cheapest owners in baseball, they could only make a serious run at uggy if they unloaded jones.

Nathan is the favorite to close going into camp, Crain will also compete for the role and don't be surprised if they bring in a has been who has closed in the past to compete for the spot as well.
