Hamilton or Pence ROY in NL

Postby Crystalstorm » Sun Jun 03, 2007 1:40 pm

I like Hamilton win the ROY.He's got alot more power, and is faster than Pence.and is in a better Offense.Look at Hamiltons 1st 3 weeks compared to Pences 1st 3 weeks.Hamiliton did better.

The only catagory Pence will be ahead of is Batting Ave.Hamilton will have the better OBP,Runs,Hr's,RBI,SB's ect..... I'd rather have Hamilton in my line-up than Pence,(Pitchers will soon exploit Pences weeknesses.)Watch how fast that BA can drop in a week.

I have both Pence and Hamilton on my team, and I can't wait for Hamilton to comeback on Tues.I'm starting him over Pence.I need Hr's and RBI,not BA.Hamilton could give me all 3,plus the SB's.

In a few more weeks we might be able to add Braun to this list, for the NL ROY.

Pence hit a dinger today. I don't know that he's really that much of a slouch in the power department. :-?

I added him initially in one of my keeper leagues when I got frustrated with C-B Young. Then Young got hot so i dropped Pence and added Young again, cause Pence wasnt doing a whole lot initially.

Of course now he starts to stroke it...its hard to judge young hitters though.

After around 130 ABs, I think it's safe to say Pence is worthy of a spot on any team.

Him and Lincecum (minus the Phillies starts) keep this up and I'm going to have some decisions to make on my keeper team. We keep 6 and I've got Pujols, Utley, Reyes, Bay, V. Wells, A. Jones, Youkilis, Matsuzaka, Nathan and Putz. Oh...and I've got both Pence and Lincecum. :b
