Sure. Have him in a couple leagues and seems like every time I check a box score he went 2 for 4

He's a hitting machine. Hits for contact and not for the long ball which is why I think he'll stay very consistent with a .300 avg by seasons end and definitely a candidate for ROY because of his consistency.

Until a couple games ago he was 10 for his last 19, with 2-4's in almost every game during that period. He's got power, speed, and hits for good average. Definitely a good find for me--helped stabilize me in CF

It's early, but it appears the kid can hit the ball 450 feet and steal bases, plus hit for average. Count me in. ;-D

used my waiver to get him, it's nice now that he is hitting 2nd in the lineup.

I used my #1 and I've been very pleased with the result. They aren't comparable players, in truth, but yesterday I was looking at Pence's results vs Holliday, who was my #1 pick (16 overall). Interesting:

Pence 44/123 (.358 BA), 13 R, 4 HR, 21 RBI, 0.981 OPS

Holliday 78/226 (0.345 BA), 29 R, 10 HR, 44 RBI, 0.962 OPS

If you're getting a player off waivers who compares roughly to your #1 pick, you've got to be happy.

Simply picked him up without burning a waiver and have started him almost every game for the past few weeks. So far he has been my most consistent hitter for the past couple of weeks.

Hunter Pence is hitting in the Three Hole today with Berkman riding the pine. Go Pence!

Pence = Roy. I like lincy but for the biggest impact made as a rookie, thats pence by a long shot.
