Actually, this is one of the few times whiskey doesn't really help. It thins the blood, and when you want those holes to clot up, thin blood is bad.
Plus the alcohol kills the antibiotic, so infection is more likely.
Sorry to hear about the pain Poker. I didn't have a ton with mine, so no real helpful tips here other than the normals. Sleep and rinse with warm salt water. Hope it gets better soon for you.
Thanks, Mad. On the plus side, now that I have this down time, I think I'll finally get around to sending you that edited copy.
definitely make sure you keep eating. if you take the pain killers on an empty stomach you'll become very very nauseous and throwing up with bloody holes in your mouth is a terrible idea

Good point. I've only had a pudding with each pill so far, but so far so good. I simply can't open my mouth enough to chew, so that's about as far as I can go with the eating....
I got my thigh muscles brütalized at Tae Kwon Do class last evening so I did 5 sets of pushups today until my arms ached and it made the more acute pain in my legs mellow out quite a bit. I guess it's not the same thing but I dunno, since the booze option is out (cognac goes VERY well w/ narcotics, BTW...) that's about the only idea I have...good luck!!
tae-kwon-do eh? im a 3rd degree black belt. stopped when i was about 15. lost interest. started when i was very young (4) and got my first black belt when i was 8. where do you live? what belt are you?
Yeah, Ice cream or frozen ice pops of some sort would help quite a bit.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
