QUICK, yahoo add drop question

ok i just picked up a guy in my league, and i want to add someone ont he DL first. i know if i keep him over night, the guy i added, if i drop him the next day he is on waivers. and i cant add him till he clears.

now what if i dropped him today, after i just picked him up, can i re pick him up since he never spent a day on my team?

Drop him now, he's a FA. Pick up your DL guy, move him to the DL, then pick up the guy you dropped.
