recent talks initiated by Arod to try and get himself out of Texas probably soured his relationship with his teammates. Any opinions on whether or not that will be a distraction to him and/or that it would hurt his numbers this year?
Also, isn't Soriano out of favor in NY as well?

I dont think that either of these problems will hurt their numbers in any way for the coming season...

I do not think A-Rod was adamant enough about finding a new home to upset his teammates.
What did Alfonzo Soriano do to upset his teammates? My perception of his situation with New York was from the opposite angle. Weren't the Yankees looking to trade him after his dissapointing post-season?

How about Manny Ramirez saying he wants to play for the Yankees? That could be bad news in left field with the fans.

I'm sure Manny will not be in left field. He will probably be in the Hotel Lobby reminiscencing with Grady Liddle
Manny has wanted to play for the Yanks since before he left Cleveland. This is nothing new and no secret. He grew up in the Bronx. What the fool should have done was take less money to make himself happy. He listened to his agent and took the big bucks and long term deal instead. Nothing wrong with that, but he got himself into an AROD type situation because of it. Only with Manny, it is not so much the ego as it is the immaturity that makes him unhappy.

Mentally tough as nails? Did you see his meltdown in Game 3 of the ALCS? That ball wasn't anywhere near hitting him. I agree he'll keep putting up great numbers. But his apparent coolness comes from his brain being saturated with marijuana residue.

I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.
