I know Helton has been slumping a bit but after looking at his stats he's really sucking. Counting tonights game (although it isn't quite over) he has only 2 measly RBIs in his last 18. Heck even Taveras has more than double that and he bats lead-off. What's up? Is this just the product of a slumping Rockies offense or should I be concerned about Helton?
the dearth of rbis has coincided with many hitless games during that span. he wasn't going to hit near .400 forever, so i suspect this was him just coming down back to earth. HOWEVER, i still believe he is going to have a huge comeback year so i expect him to pick it up again, hitting for a high avg unlike 2006.

In leagues that have OPS and K's as categories he is VERY valuable, but yes the HR's are not coming back.
It's not so much about the HRs that I care about, I knew he wasn't gonna hit more than 15 maybe 20. I'm wondering where the RBIs and even runs have gone? I mean right now he's essentially a one-tool player, he gets a high average. Frankly I don't want the next Freddy Sanchez as my first basemen.
