in cleveland, they dont even show you anything about the NL during the updates while watching us beat up on detroit.

i realize theres no way to know really what the situation is, but was it one of those, rolling around on the ground in pain-headed to the DL type thing...? or did he just not come back out after the half inning like something just wasn't right.

i dropped him like 2 weeks ago, and he's gone on to actually hit since I dropped him. picked him back up 2 days ago, and now I'm gonna be a little pissed if this is an actual problem, because huston street lives on my DL.

So Taguchi replaced him, with Scott Spiezio going from left field to third base. If this is a DL-type strain, Spiezio will have value in NL-only leagues

I am really glad I resisted the urge to get him from waivers...I already have to deal with Chipper on the bench........

HOUSTON (AP) - St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen left Friday night's game against the Houston Astros after two innings with a strained right hamstring.

Rolen grounded out in the top of the second and didn't appear to be injured then, but was replaced when the Cardinals took the field for the bottom of the third.

Scott Spiezio was moved from left field to take Rolen's place at third and So Taguchi came in to play left field.

at least encouraging that it didn't look bad on the field

Scott Rolen isn't likely to play this weekend after suffering a strained right hamstring in Friday's game.
"I think it's going to take a couple of days," manager Tony La Russa said. "He said he hurt it when he was running to first base." Scott Spiezio will play third base in his place.
