Oswalt, Hudson, Zito.. with such a stellar rotation around him, the opposition cant always try and get their ace against him because then they got roger and pettitte. I think he will face some lesser pitchers this year and his injury is sposed to be healed, so id take him.

This thread has me really confused. I am borderline shocked at the lack of love Oswalt has been shown. His september led me to believe he was fully back from his injury last yr, so that really isnt a factor for me.
In Oswalt I see a guy with more potential to win 20 than any Oak pitcher this yr. He gets more Ks than the others, and he has %s similar to slightly lower as well.
Help me out here fellas - please explain to me what I am missing - why should I draft Hudson and Zito before Oswalt?

as long as oswalt is able to come back strong after the injury he definitly is the best of the bunch. Some people have been staying away from oswalt early in the drafts and talking hudson before him. if you just take a risk, i think oswalt will prove to be an ace of most fantasy staffs. hudson is also a good choice though, and is probably the safe bet, but id rather take the risk.

I believe Hudson has better stuff/skill than Oswalt, but Oswalt will have some of the pressure off him due to the rotation around him and he'll get ten times the run support.
