BTW Marrioti is reporting that Big Z landed a good 7 or 8 punches to Barrett's face.
Zambrano could be gone for a while.
Zambrano is an idiot. He always has been a powder keg and this incident proves that fact. He shoudl not be blaming anyone for the way he has pitched this year. What did he prove by his actions and behavior yesterday?
that he can beat up his catchers if he doesn't pitch well
Which, imo, actually serves some purpose. Get Barrett out of town, I can't stand his ineptness behind the plate.

self defense is even more important when you catch for zambrano, because if you don't do a good job you might find your self getting punched

...in other news, MLB is looking into if AJ Pierzynski is in violation of ruly 21-b, after delivering a case of Dom Perignon to Carlos Zambrano after Zambrano gave Michael Barrett 2 black eyes and six stitches.

A maneger in my league said best offer gets zambrano...in tired of him. so i posted olsen for him and he accepted. I see this as a great buy low and am not losing much in olsen. What do you all think?

WOW...Olsen for Big Z, that is dirt cheap...I traded Z in a league that has basically no bench spots and got Dave Bush and Rafael Furcal for him...worked nice with Weeks going on the DL.
