Guy in my league trades Ortiz for Crisp

Postby rcarena » Fri Jun 01, 2007 3:01 pm

Full deal was Ortiz, Jeter, Bonderman for crisp, Burrell, and C. Cordero.

I hate vetos, but I can't let this pass, right?

I've never vetoed any trades in any of my leagues. HOWEVER, this has to be collusion. I can't see any other explanation. Veto.

That has collusion written all over it. Every single player on the Ortiz side is better than every single player on the other.

Collusion or not this has a veto. If it was good hitting for good pitching fine but the worst of the players on the Ortiz side is better than the best on the Crisp side. No way.

This is either collusion or a fantasy owner that has absolutely no clue. If the latter, a "mercy veto" could be warranted to save the poor soul from fantasy damnation.

I'm not quick on the veto trigger at all. I've vetoed one trade in the past two years. But this is an absurd deal.

Ask for their reasoning, but that one does smell like collusion...

Really? What's the point? Honestly :-b

Veto first and ask "questions" later.

Whether or not the managers involved deserve the benefit of the doubt, this trade does NOT deserve to see the light of day.
