I have 3 DL spots and now have 5 guys DLed.

myers - weeks - lester - liriano - westbrook

partial keeper league with 6 keepers. pitching heavy, westbrook cant be cut.

^liriano can. If its a 6 player keeper, he shouldn't be in your top 6.

I am also glad about this for the reasons already stated. I just Upton/Pedroia can continue to get it done for me.

Problem with Liriano is..... I could see myself deeply regretting not keeping him a year from now. That's not a good feeling.

Who are your top 6, if the season ended right now?

edit: I meant that sarcastically, not that I know anything about your team. It's just too risky with a guy who has already had such a major injury. I just have to believe that you have six guys who will likely be quite valuable going forward that it is too much of a risk to keep Liriano. You could probably get him in the draft earlier than some of your healthy players.

prince fielder, jeter, aram, a.jones, kazmir, rj, lackey, nathan... are probably what you would consider the keeper types on my team ... pitching depth is so incredibly important though
