Brewers' announcers just reported Weeks is being sent to the DL.

Yes it is. At least, it is for those of us with a DL spot. Now I can spot start some pitchers.
Not only that, Weeks will likely be a significant asset down the stretch if he has some time to heal.

Well this is my 4th DL player at the moment and I only have 2 DL spots. I can't really afford to drop any of em.

I'm in favor of the move. It's really hurting his production, I think. Need him to get healthy and hopefully he'll come back strong.

Good move and Weeks owners should be happy. He'll finally be able to heal up. But for a guy who never eclipsed 360 ABs before I don't think anyone should be surprised.

Yahoo have made him DL eligible already.
Now I can pick up a spot starter for Saturday.
