Just curious, as it's about the only comptuer game i play consistently and wondered if and how many Cafe'ers played it as well...

I played for a couple months after it came out. My soldier name was "Hoser".

I could never get Titan mode to work worth a damn because it was always so laggy so I always ended up playing Conquest. Because I played BF1942 for a year and a 1/2, Conquest in BF2142 wasn't really enough to hold my interest. The Baur was by far my favorite weapon. Being an engineer was pretty cool too.


The next game I'm going to get is Quake Wars. "Crysis" comes out near the end of the year, so I'm holding off buying a new computer until then.

I don't mind this game, but I would like it a lot more if it would work again. I was playing online perfectly for 3 weeks, and all of a sudden it just stopped working. I click on the icon to start the game, I get the title screen.....then nothing....just desktop. I changed nothing.....tried system restores, reinstalls, upgrading drivers....nothing worked. EA customer support was useless, as usual. So I bought Battlefield 2 and have been addicted to that instead. IMO, it's much better.
