Drastic changes needed or wait? WHIR

Postby kingmike74 » Thu May 31, 2007 7:51 am

10 man, 5x5.

I am in second place but behind by 18 points due to my ERA, WHIP and saves.

ERA- 7th out of 10 teams (4.15)

WHIP 7th out of 10 teams (1.332)

SAVES 8th out of 10 teams (25), leader has 42.

Will my staff come around or do I need drastic changes?

is your pitching limit 120? that's how most 10 team roto leagues are. if that is the case i would keep only 4 SP and then stack up on 4 to 5 RP. I was in the same spot as you earlier in the season down by about 25 saves. i added 3 more closers and am now only down by 10. even if you can't catch the leader you can catch the guys behind the leader and gain a ton a points doing that. it also helps out your ERA and WHIP so it would be a win win in your case. Try to trade your extra SP away. but keep your best 4 as that is all you need if your pitching limit is 120. good luck
