Doug and Livan? I wouldn't consider 32 very young for a pro athlete. Especially Livan with all the miles he has on that arm.
Thus the reason I said they are FAIRLY young. You can't consider them old can you? Plus that whole post was emphasizing the lack of youth in the rotation. I never considered Davis and Hernandez really young, I was merely recognizing that they are not old.
I don't really pay attention to him since I don't think he has a great deal of potential. I was glad they were able to get him along with Davis in the Estrada deal, but I really don't like him much.

No they are not old, but they are not close to young either, and really aren't factors in Az's long term plan. Especially Livan. All those innings make him look like he was born in 1965.

That's exactly what my point is. The whole post was conveying why Scherzer's signing and early success is so huge for them. Without him they really would have no big arm close to the majors while also having a semi-old rotation.

Not horrible, but he's capable of much better IMO.
Oh yeah....this is a big letdown.
I'm confused why you even needed to be sarcastic. I wasn't disappointed at all. I figured he would struggle in the first game since Double-A is a pretty big jump for most. I was merely posting to give people an update.
