I think he is a very unappreciated player, he has been on fire lately and has been greatly contributing to the Rockies wins. What do you guys think of Hawpe?[/u]

He's great against righties, rides my pine against lefties. Well owrht owning only if you can platoon him, otherwise, you don't want him in there against lefties.
Very solid and consistent player. He's not going to win you any games, but he won't lose them either. I think he'll post solid numbers through his career.
Highly, highly streaky. I like him overall and am happy to own him, but there is a strong arguement for selling high if you can get a good return for him. .290/20 is probably more likely over a full season. And, as pointed out above, you need to bench him against lefties to get maximum performance.
Yeah, perfect platoon with Granderson for me! I grabbed him after he was dropped in my league (he was drafted very high), and I've been very pleased (except that I benched him against Webb a few weeks back).
Yeah I traded him just before he heated up. It was still a good deal, but I was sorry to see that he waited until now to heat up.
I was real high on him at my draft and hoped he'd continue slumping bad enough that my trade partner would drop him and I could pick him back up. Poop!
...and since said trade partner reads the cafe what I meant to say is "Hawpe is no good. He's just going through a small hot streak. He stinks. In fact I didn't even mean to draft him, my mouse moved as I was selecting Brad Radke. Hawpe should be dropped immediately in our league."
