News: Benitez was unavailable to pitch Wednesday after having fluid drained from his right knee, the team's official site reports.

Spin: Benitez injured himself Tuesday, when he suffered a blown save while committing two balks in the Giants' 12-inning defeat to the Mets. The injury is only supposed to sideline him for a few games.

The only injury benitez has is a bruised ego. but to be honest, they're paying him too much to keep him that short of a leash.
