Which Beltran Trade Is The Better of The Two? Quick, WHIR

Plan A: I trade Beltran for Johan Santana, then I trade Lincecum for Vernon Wells.

Plan B: I trade Beltran and Cano for Chase Utley, then I trade Lincecum for Vernon Wells.

I know the person with Wells would trade him for Lincecum. The guy with Utley is a Mets fan so he may do the deal, but the guy with Johan I don't know too well and have not really talked trades with, but it's Johan.

def utley deal..ur staff is amazing...n wells u no will come around for a prospect...lincecum is good..but still a young stud n never no wat will happen while utley n wells r proven...n i dont like kelly johnson at 2b really....

Dude, i like your team as is. K. Johnson has been very solid and Beltran is in for a monster year. I would just sit tight. You just need to wait Berkman out since his value is low at this point. It also looks as though Hughes is gonna be out longer than expected, so you're gonna need to hold on to Lincecum. Also, I would not drop Delmon Young. He has too much upside. Be patient and let your team develop as the weather starts to heat up. My 2 cents.

how did you get this team in a 12 team league...loaded with first and second rounders...anyways your team is fine as is except maybe a closer other than dotel

I think I'd sit tight. But if you're itching to deal, do the Utley version.

I like the Utley deal as well, only because your pitching staff is sick. Otherwise always take Johan if you can get him. In this case though you would get a huge upgrade at 2B. I also like Linecum for Wells unlike everyone else. Wells will be fine and Linecum is due to hit a wall at some time.

I like the Utley deal. I personally think that your team is pretty solid as is. I know Lincecum was a FA, but I can see him being worth more than Vernon Wells soon. Have you watched Lincecum pitch? He's filthy.
