Ok. I'm not sure if I should accept this trade for Johan and Brian Roberts. As of now I am in 1st place with a 6-2 record.

I would be giving Martin (who I have no use for), Glaus (who I am tired of), Wells, Ray (who is expendable with all the closers I have), and Wang (who I would gladly give up for Johan), and Marcus Giles.

The thing is, will my team survive with that outfield? I'm going to have a LOADED staff after this trade. The way I'm seeing it is, I'm stealing Johan and Roberts from him. The only thing is, my OF is the only part of my team that can't really take the hit of this trade. Willingham and Teahen are playing great now, I'm just worried that they might fall off by the end of the season. Braun or Blake I'm not worried about, since I don't like the hwole idea of Glaus taking days off 1 or 2 times a week, and him not being 100%. I'm figuring, do the trade and if I start losing, just trade Johan for an all-star 3B and OFer.

Your OF is really thin as is and I don't think you should stretch it out any more. Johan is great, but I'd gladly take the staff you have now without him. I don't think this trade is necessary. If you want an upgrade at 2B move Martin and Ray.

I agree. You are by no means desperate for a Starting pitcher. Nomatter how nice it is to aquire Santana, you shouldnt put your lineup in jepardy to do so. Your outfield is treading on thin ice as it is. I wouldnt trade what you cant afford to trade, to gain something that you dont even really need. I hope you get what I'm saying.
