Those were two different episodes, but any Seinfeld reference is a good one. I'm sure anyone else that has seen "Curb your Enthusiasm" on HBO now knows where that humor came from.

Gambling is illegal here in Texas too. Doesn't count for tests of skill as long as you report all winnings to the IRS.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

so what do they call the Lottery there in Texas? Game of chance?
Yep. Same goes for bingo. Want to go to a casino? Not in Texas. Makes absolutely no sense to me to have the lotto and bingo but no casinos.

I agree. TN just got the lottery. Waste of money in my opinon. I'd rather lose my money at the Fair playing games. I think the odds at the fair are better by a small margin!

Oh yeah, I remember what I forgot now. We have horse racing too. Lone Star Park is getting pretty big. So we've got the lotto/bingo/ and horse racing, but no casinos? It would be nice if they would just legalize gambling and be done with it. That would be a ton of money in tax revenue that they are currently losing to Oklahoma and Louisiana. It would save me the drive too.
