"Scientists have tested Billy Beane's brain and determined that his cybermetrics are merely from books. It was said that Miguel Tejada would have signed for half of what he signed for in Baltimore. Beane replied " His win shares weren't worth pujols money. He might have been correct, given that he is a genius and all. There has been an MRI on Billy Beane's brain and it has been been determined that he thinks he is a genius.

We, here, at the jonny wire, have tried to contact Theo Epstien on this subject, but haven't been able to tear him away from a dinnner with Beane, himself, Derek Jeter, an A-Rod substitute, and Babe Ruth's ghost, to comment on this situation.

All he really said, was, Kevin Millar and David Ortiz will be better than last year, and Bill Mueller is a perrenial batting champ.

I think jonnyblack might be tinystpete from the mlb.coms fantasy baseball message boards. Except "tiny"(as he is called by us mlb fantasy guys) is a devil ray fan from st petersburg.

madness in the baseball world seems to me like a derivitive of madness. Then again, I could go bowling with Madison, that might be pure madness.

By the way, John Burket and Cliff Floyd should get on the same train and.....................
