Well, aside from the fact that his collapse was predictable (his K-rate was like 30% last year; he's not a very good hitter although his power is nice)... the Dodgers are just plain stupid?

I mean, they've called up Andy LaRoche (who, by the way, is a much better player to have at this point than Betemit) and sit him. Kid walks 14 times to just 4 strikeouts and they bench him.... Where is the justice in this world, I ask you?!?

Seriously, though, he's not a bad player, he's just one of those guys best used in a utilty role. He can play a couple of different positions, and he's a decent bat off the bench. But he shouldn't be a starter for a ML team (or your fantasy squad, for that matter!).
