weird thing is the Johnan Santana team offered the trade. He previously proposed Santana for Zito straight up (which was obviously accepted by Zito's team), and I declined to let the trade go through of course. The two teams then started calling me a dictating commish. Should I allow this one to go through?

I wouldn't make the trade and I think that the Santana side owns here but that isn't enough for me to veto. Biggio is crap. Santana is the best player while Dunn and Zito are the next best 2.

Any time that you are on the fence about vetoing, it might be useful to send both parties an e-mail asking for an explanation. Maybe it's based on need. Maybe they overvalue a certain player. Things like that. Too many people just look at the names involved.

I usually let trades go through no matter how bad the trade is for on side if there are no signs of cheating. Sometimes some owners are just not that bright. Especially if they are new to fantasy baseball.
