You guys who are watching the game (why is TBS not broadcasting this one?) read this from ESPN.com

News: Smoltz left Tuesday's game against the Brewers after three innings with an apparent shoulder injury.

Spin: We'll have more information as it becomes available, as it's unclear at this time if this injury is related to his collision with Austin Kearns on May 14.

I didn't see any indication of a shoulder injury. By the way he shook his hand and grimaced after getting jammed, I'm thinking it had to be the pinkie.

After a brief mound visit, Smoltz left -- the reason he left the game was not immediately announced, but he shook his right hand gingerly after his at-bat in the fourth and was looking at his fingers. He was replaced by Oscar Villarreal. It was Smoltz's shortest outing since June 23 when he left after straining his groin.

That doesn't sound too bad, does it???

John Smoltz aggravated his pinkie finger and suffered a mild shoulder strain on a warmup pitch before leaving Tuesday's game in the fourth inning.

Smoltz apparently hurt the pinkie on a swing. The shoulder is the bigger concern, though the Braves said he left as a precaution. He was hurt warming up in the fourth, perhaps when he slipped on the mound, and faced just one batter in the inning before leaving. If Smoltz can't make his next start, the Braves will have to bring back Lance Cormier early and find another starter for next Tuesday's doubleheader.

I wonder what "mild" means? Missed start? No DL??
