Alright I moved into first by myself this week after beating the guy I was tied with. I was feeling good, I can stay on top I think. There's one guy though that has moved from 7th to 3rd in just 3 weeks, he did some major revamping.

What could I do to secure my place?

you should snag hill and victorino right away. maybe you can afford to drop a pitcher (ray or torres) because you are so stacked at that position, i cant see you needing extra starts from those two pitchers to lower era, etc. hill and victorino are gold.

Agree...grab Victorino Now! Drop one of your RP: Ray or Torres and play the Closer FA market...you can always find saves, but not a solid OF. Besides you need someone to pick up the slack for Abreu.

i like this idea...however...maybe you can offer up a trade for some SB...overall your team is solid...i may want to offer up a lilly for someone who can snatch bases...but victorrino and hill seem like very good options

I've won one week and lost seven in saves, is it really smart to drop a Closer? Of course Ive only won two weeks in SB lol.

it looks like you have a solid club, but if your looking to help your era and whip. i'd try to add either bell or okajima. oka might get you a save from time to time, but both ptichers have early season era and whip numbers. don't give up a starter or a save guy, but both will help, if your league has a max on innings pitched.

torres blew another save today and sweet lou is considering moving dempster to SP. i would add okajima who has been a dominant set-up man and has gotten a few saves. also with papelbon's propensity to injury he could get the role at some time this year. since you are benching him, i would shop uggla around to try and get a solid closer.

If I were you I'd find someway to add victorino, I'd first try and trade your closers if you can get any value. But if you have to drop someone I'd make it Dempster because I bet he will soon be out of that role. Then I'd trade Lilly for something while his value is still high.
