your staff is very iffy...i have a similar looking staff in one league and it has not been fun this year...i would start lincecum...you don't have much to lose...i think he will pitch well against the mets...he seems like he is supposed to be a stud...start him and don't worry about it

I would start him based on necessity. You don't have a very good staff. He likely won't get the win tonight....not with San Francisco having to go up against Perez but you might be able to count on a no decision.

I am middle of the pack strikeouts wise and WHIP wise with this pitching staff (1450 Innings, W, SV, HLD,K,ERA,WHIP) but right near the top in wins, holds, and 4th in ERA (12 teams)

I am sporting this staff of starters

C. Zambrano (I've benched him both of his good starts no less...he doesn't sit for the rest of the g.d. year)
Kazmir (can't pitch out of the 5th inning usually)
Chris Young (bright spot)
Lincecum (another bright spot)
Gallardo (somehow slipped thorugh waivers to me with the #7 spot)


can't rationalize not starting lincecum, at least to help with ratios, he may outlast perez. It's not as if there is NO CHANCE Perez implodes, is that really ever the case? Start him and we'll see.

I have both Lincecum and Perez...so I am walking the gauntlet and starting them both. Lincecum has pitched too well since his major league debut blowup to sit him. The Mets have never hit against him so they wont be real familiar with his pitches. I am real comfortable tonight with both him and Perez....Ideally in my case....it's a 1-0 shutout for one or the other....just wishful thinking!
