There is a reason that only 5 SPs (Santana, Oswalt, Carpenter, Peavy, & Zambrano) are taken in the 1st 5 rounds in most fantasy drafts. So, thats 5 starters taken and 55 other positions in a normal 5x5 12 person league. Hitters just have more value in fantasy baseball.
no no no no no no no. That advice is
only good at that time. This is about the bottom of your team, not top. You should go with the player that has the higher upside, not the fielder over the pitcher. Price could become an elite pitcher and not surprise anyone doing so. Why pass up on the next potential "Santana, Oswalt, Carpenter, Peavy, & Zambrano" for an OF who doesn't have the tremendous upside?
