Travis Snider or David Price?? Pick 1.

Is T. Snider a better keeper than Price??

Based soley on potential.

I'd take Snider becasue:

1) I trust Hitters more and pitchers can get injured easier it seems.

2)He's a great pure hitter __the "next Billy Butler" (it's a good time to get Snider becasue he's way under the radar)

3) Snider is showing talent in the minors...Price hasn't yet. (Mike Pelfrey was a great college pitcher too and that's not going well)

Snider for me and its not really close...Pitchers are far to much of a risk.. I know Price has a ton of potential, but Ive seen him twice this year and he didnt really impress me either time.. Snider has a very high ceiling.

I played in the same conference as Snyder in High School. He's a complete BEAST.

Price does have a couple of years on Snyder. If you can wait. I'd go with Snyder. He's raw but he could be a great one.

So Snider is a keeper....

Now I can keep up Price on June 7th when he is drafted....

I now have Shields and Jacob mcgee out of the drays system

IS Price a better option than Mcgee????

Price with ease. Its not everyday you see big lefties that throw high 90's with great command and solid breaking stuff.

Go with the hitter always in fantasy if your team needs are equal. There is a reason that only 5 SPs (Santana, Oswalt, Carpenter, Peavy, & Zambrano) are taken in the 1st 5 rounds in most fantasy drafts. So, thats 5 starters taken and 55 other positions in a normal 5x5 12 person league. Hitters just have more value in fantasy baseball.

no no no no no no no. That advice is only good at that time. This is about the bottom of your team, not top. You should go with the player that has the higher upside, not the fielder over the pitcher. Price could become an elite pitcher and not surprise anyone doing so. Why pass up on the next potential "Santana, Oswalt, Carpenter, Peavy, & Zambrano" for an OF who doesn't have the tremendous upside?
