Thanks for the tutorials, really helpful
First one I did was the Oswalt sig (what better than make a sig of the guy that's going to supersede Oswalt right?
) Everything ran rather smoothly except the final steps. I wanted to discolor the whole image a little bit more, similar to how yours became a goldish yellowish color after you applied all your darkening tools. But I couldn't apply it to the WHOLE sig (all the layers) and could only apply it to separate layers like my top render. Any idea what I was doing wrong?

K this next one I had some problems with the lighting. This one I followed the Halladay tutorial. I didn't know how to "copy the entire sig" and I just couldn't get the lighting the way I wanted. The white brush was always TOO white and the black brush was TOO black... so I was kind of lost there. Every time you do a brighten or darken layer do you always put it on top of your renders?

ok, to get all the layers copied on to one, go to image>apply image on a new layer.
to get lighting over the complete sig, use color balances, hue/saturations, and brushes

pick a movie any movie. a stock photo is just something used as b/g texture. get something that fits for the type of sig you want.
movies i've gone too for stocks include, 28 days later, blood diamond, the matriz, hannibal rising.... ect.ect.ect

So every time you do your brushing do you create a new blank layer on top of your render and then set it to overlay? Or do you copy the whole sig?
And I'm a little lost on moviemaze as well, every time I click anything it just leads to more google ad links
