I am in a 14 team mixed roto league.I need to pick up a few points to overtake 1st. Do I have a slim , good or great chance to pick up ground?

I would assume that you aren't near the top in saves, but probably near the top in most other pitching categories.

I would try to trade one of your SP like Bedard for another closer.

I think the Gordon ship has sailed for this season, so you should look into getting someone better for that CI slot. Another area to look at upgrading would be Catcher. Even when Piazza comes back it is still your weakest position. Your Pitching is deep enough that you could take a small hit.

Overall I would say you have a pretty good shot at claiming First. Cano getting on track might be enough, not knowing your exact points breakdown.

I just picked up Conor Jackson to take the place of Gordon next week.As for as the catcher position, it is a 14 team league and I was fortunate to pick up Varitek.

A very impressive team for a 14 team league. I would say ship off Gordon, and maybe some added power? Also a better catcher wouldn't hurt but there aren't a lot of good ones out there.

Nice squad. How many closers can you play?

I'd package a pitcher and jackson for an upgrade a DH, and move Sheff to CI (assuming he qualifies at 1b). Otherwise, hold tight.
