Well I unfortunately missed grabbing him in my 12 team yahoo league by minutes, literally. However, I'd like to let everyone else in the cafe know that CBS sportsline reports there is a decent shot he may get the call and start this week, and that Ramon Ortiz might get moved to the pen. Grab him now, cause I'd say he could be this year's Jered Weaver to Lincecum being this year's Cole Hamels.

Thank you for the meaningful superslugger, I'm sure Kevin Slowey is certainly the only player on Fantasy baseball cafe to have more than one thread posted. It is wonderful insight like your's that helps out fantasy owners looking for a quick scoop. So thank you very much, keep up the good work.

Re: Kevin Slowey

He's dominating AAA again and his pinpoint control is unbelievable. What is it going to take for him to get another shot in the bigs this year? Garza is pitching well so he likely won't lose his spot. Baker has been respectable for the most part and his WHIP suggests his ERA might be a little higher then it ought to be. So what does that mean for Kevin Slowey? What's his future with a healthy Francisco Liriano coming back next year (assuming he's healthy next year). The Twins also have Glen Perkins and Boof Bonser as young guys, Bonser obviously already in the rotation. He can't simply continue to sit in AAA and dominate them can he? What good is it doing him? He is clearly much better then the competition down there. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.
