I am still ticked off at his 2005 season and how i wasted a high draft pick on him.

I still say he should only be in lineups in deep, deep leagues...

Give me Chris Shelton! !+)

Beltre really hasn't been THAT bad this season.

Before tonight's 4-4 night with 2 HRs he was ranked as the 12th best 3b.

Exactly. His BA and OBP were low but he was still putting up a very respectable amount of runs, RBI, HRs, and 5 stolen bases to boot. B-)

Lol i don't hate Beltre and i don't think he's absolutely, ridiculously BAD...i am just drinking a little haterade after his 2004 season tricked me into drafting him so high the following year.

And obviously the Chris Shelton reference was a joke... :-b

I hear you. He was pissing me off big time this year also. His splits last season were:

.254 with 7 HRs before the All-Star break

.285 with 18 HRs after the All-Star break

I was hoping his post AS break numbers would continue this season. Until this week it looked like a pipe dream. However, he now has 9 HRs and his average up to .276 so I guess he isn't that far off track. ;-D
I am a New York Jets, New York Mets, and New York Knicks fan. I know misery like few other sports fans know ...

I'm thrilled I held onto him. Then again, my other option was Crede, so I don't deserve much credit.
