I've been carrying a ton of starting pitchers, most of whom are pretty serviceable (Smoltz, Maine, Lilly, Arroyo, Snell, Escobar, Young), and have to decide early in the week which guys I'm going to have to leave out to not mow through the innings. I figure out when my guys are going, and go directly to b-r.com and find their career splits vs. the team in question. Works like magic. The home/road and vs. righty/lefty splits are pretty handy, too.

you base whether to pitch smoltz or not based on his career splits versus teams?
They have been doing an amazing job of adding new features over there for awhile now. Updated, in-season stats are great. The player splits are awesome. And the retrosheet parser is out of this world. Good to see those sponsorship dollars going to good use. Now they just need to get the pOPS+ number in since they have had the space dedicated to them for a couple years now.

Smoltz is the exception. This is my first shot at the whole fantasy baseball thing; I'm learning on the fly.

I now get that at the click of a button right on my team page ...
Greasemonkey Rocks. Bwanna Rocks! Tavish, you of course rock too!
Agreed, Baseball-Reference.com is awesome, but Greasemonkey beats it to the ground especially with that feature. And with the Lookitup script that Greasemonkey offers, I can look up anyone on BR.com with the click of a button.
