MLB.tv commercials...

So I made a post sarcastically lampooning the MLB.tv commercials but it got deleted by a mod apparently. Am I not allowed to criticize MLB.tv? Apologies but I just wanted to get this off my chest. Mods, please let me know if this is out of line.

Those of you who watch it know about the Dick's sporting goods commercial (you know, the "It's about doing... what it takes... to win") that plays over EVERY commercial break. Sometimes you get the pac-man one or the store one, but the Dick's commercial comes on pretty much 10-15 times during the course of a game and is noticeably louder than the broadcasts themselves.

Is it too much to ask MLB to get some variety? Jeez.

Does everyone get Dicks commercials? I live in Pittsburgh where the headquarters of Dicks is located so I just figured it was a zipcode/regional thing.

It's awful. First it was that annoying Right Guard commercial and now Dick's. Worst of all, they play that commercial EVERY TIME you logon to mlb.tv to watch a game, and even if you are watching one game and switch to another game without leaving mlb.tv.

So if your stud OF is at the plate and you switch to watch his game, you'll most likely miss the at-bat because you'll be watching those slobs from the Dick's commercial.

And you have to PAY for mlb.tv in the first place. Let's see now: you PAY to see something AND you have to sit through commercials?

I was going to get the MLB.tv package till I heard about these "dicks" ad's, and decided to pass.
I like to switch back and forth between games, and I have heard that is impossible without a visit from Dick.

I also made a post about this about 1.5 weeks ago and it was moved to the general talk forum, but it is VERY annoying. My least favorite part is when the connection gets lost during an inning and when it reconnects they show the Dick's commercial again instead of rushing back to the action. It is awful. I liked it better when you could see the commercials of each telecast.

I kinda thought the same thing...wait a second! Why am I paying a monthly fee for this s*** if I have to sit through a Dick's commercial every time I bring it up? If they're going to show commercials every commercial break, please just make them the ones the station you're broadcasting got paid to use. I can't take this Dick's stuff any more.

I have the mlb.tv premium package and i think it's great. yeah the dicks comercials get annoying, but I switch to a different game when one of them goes to comercial. And no it does not show a comercial every time you switch to another game. The premium one is great, you can track all of your fantasy players and it tells you everytime they're up to bat. Then you're able to switch over and watch them if you'd like. It does the same with pitchers.

Just watch the games without the volume. Half the times the sound is not in sync with the video anyway.
