I had to pick up Braun to make up for that JERK Ryan Zimmerwoman! And so far he has been ok. He sure does hit within a better lineup than Zimmerwoman.

thanks. At least there is encouraging news about him returning this year. Even if he does come back....he's still the "DL King"!

Braun will hit more like Filex Pie did when he 1st came up this year.Look how awsome Pie started hitting once he went back to AAA.Braun might bounce back and forth between AAA and the majors this year.

who are you? and where in the H do you base this info on?

all my spidey senses tell me that Braun is one of the top 5 possible call ups before season started...and several of those ahead of him have failed.

i dont get this board...Braun love & hate...Atkins love & hate...some1 has to be right, some1 has to be wrong.

im thinking its the Braun lovers...Atkins is burnt toast. throw him in da garabage

Through 5 games hes hitting .300, with 3runs, 3rbis, 2sb, 1hr.

He absolutely mashed in spring training. And then absolutely mashed in Triple AAA, and many considered him the most major league ready bat in the minors. In addition he is known for speed, and hitting for average to go with his power. Considering how many 3B have been relatively busts so far, its hard not to get excited about this kid, and if your in a keeper league hes gold.

Also, if you think people are braun crazy, try reading some of the lincecum threads...

Hardly.

Let's hear your list, dmendro..... I'll take "hardly" to mean you've got at least 5 better bats on your list. I'll settle for three.

Yeah, I'm certainly all ears to hear who will be a better bat called up for the remainder of the year... even one bat. I don't see anyone who will be. Votto is blocked right now, and I don't view him as a better bat anyways. Longoria is in AA and though hitting well, isn't nearly as ready, and also blocked by Iwamura.
