Everyone is Braun happy because rookie 3rd basemen recently, especially top prospect rookie 3rd basemen, have lived up to the hype quickly and been solid contributors. Though Alex Gordon is struggling this year, Ryan Zimmerman, and before him David Wright in a half season all were very important keys to teams success in the past few seasons as rookies.

Exactly. Wanna know how Atkins unhappy I am? I just dropped my only SS to get Braun with a waiver claim. (But then again, my SS was Khalil Greene, he of the . 253 OBP club). So now I have to play without a SS until I can figure out how to swing a deal or drop a player I want to keep, i.e. Dan Johnson, Reggie Willits. How's that for desperation?

I think he is doing great for just getting called up.....the lineup he is playing in is great for him...plus his 0-4 game Sunday was against Jake Peavy who only gave up 3 hits. Wasn't Alex Gordon the number 1 prospect coming into this year? If I had my choice between Braun playing in Milwaukee and Gordon playing in Kansas City...I will go with Braun.
