Any thoughts/help for trades or FA pickups would be appreciated, as well as analysis of my weaknesses. Thank you all.
Nice team, pretty good balance. Two poins of concern:
1. Both your closers were out for (almost) the entire season last year. You'll need both of them to perform really well. Knowing that in most ten team leagues all closers worthy of having on your team are gone, I'd stand pat and wait at least until Spring training to see if another option emerges and if your 2 guys are doing allright.
2. Joe Mauer will be great. I've got him in two of my 4 keeper leagues. However, do you really want to count on production from the catcher slot from someone who's never played above AA? Drop Jose Guillen (he sucks) and get a decent backup.
Good luck.

Agreed - solid team, but closers are a concern, particularly if you'll be using daily lineup changes. With your speed, Podsednik might be a trade candidate, but that depends on the other teams' rosters.

solid team except your closers. Neither one is guaranteed to be the starting closer when the season starts. I think Nen and Hoffman both still have injury concerns..

Not too bad. I'd see about getting a catcher though. You are banking on a rookie where you don't need to. Move him to the bench since it's a keeper league, and then pick up another catcher. Closers are a concern, but if you keep your eyes on the free agent pool, you should be able to pick up some help.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I haven't seen much interest in Pods in my league, as I took him at around the 150th pick of the draft. I was worried about my closers a little, but not much was left towards the end when I actually drafted them. Hadn't thought about another catcher...Actually, there are a few left...we are in the last round of the draft...Could someone please give me a few late round C to look at?
LeCroy is probably still availiable. Robbie Hammock is worth a look too.
