Two trades: worth vetoing?

Postby psycho1jau » Mon May 28, 2007 3:46 pm

Team A just made two trades that got vetoed, are they worth vetoing in this league?

Trade 1 -
Team A gets:
Alfonso Soriano
Rickie Weeks

Team B gets:
Jason Bay
Matt Cain

Trade 2 -
Team A gets:
Billy Wagner

Team C gets:
Tom Gorzelanny

Neither are that bad, but I am not shocked to see vetoes in both cases. I probably would have let trade 1 go through, but might have vetoed trade 2.

I think I would have let both go through

I think they both favor team A, but they aren't bad enough to veto. Especially since team C had excess RP and needed SP and Soriano is struggling so bad. It's a buy low on trade 1 and a strength for strength trade on trade 2.

I would have to agree with the gusy above. The first trade they are just giving up and selling low. And the second trade they are just trying to fill holes in their teams. The trades arent horrible enough to call for a veto .

the first is definitely fair and not vetoable. the 2nd one is a "bad" trade but certainly not vetoable. it just looks like someone bought high on gorz.

Agreed on all counts except I would have used caps, when applicable. :-D
