Yeah...that looked really bad although I don't think the wall got him. It looks like after Hopper spun him around his head wrenched to the left when he landed sideways on the ground. They've put the color on his neck and they're putting him on a backboard right now. I really really hope this is just a lot of precaution being taken.

One positive note is that it definitely looked like he moved his arm at some point there. I can't say for sure on it but I definitely think he moved his arm there.

He crossed with Hopper in right field. Hopper spun him around with his fielding arm and Freel did a 180 and then landed on his left side. When he landed his neck wrenched awkwardly to the left and then he rolled up to the fence and didn't move at all until the medical staff got out on the field.

this is scary, reminds me of a freak football accident. They always take every precaution, hopefully their caution outweighs the severity of the injury.

It was in the gap and him and Hopper (I think) collided. Freel kind of spun in the air off of him and fell hard to the ground and his head snapped down and slammed into the ground. I've never seen anything this bad before.

They're loading him on a stretcher right now, I don't know if he's regained consciousness yet.
