i love this d-rays forum... ive been a fan since i can remember i love the new things we are doing. i would like to see some changes tho, first of why the hell is norton even playing.

C-Navarro/Riggans
1B-Pena
2B-Upton
SS-Harris
3B-Aki when he gets back
OF-Crawford
OF-Dukes
OF-Young
DH-Wigginton i guess... i dont like him much

but anyways we need to call some of those pitchers up. Those kids we drafted from Rice i would love to see.

Also maybe look at a line up of

Batting Order
Aki
Upton
Crawford
Dukes
Young
Wigginton
pena
harris
navarro

Joe maddon makes me upset sometimes with young batting in 7/8 hole... hes a good player just needs someone to protect him, hes getting thrown around because he has navarro behind him every game... also aki would make great lead off, he hits high average and walks plus some blinding speed, i would love to see this new line up

Welcome aboard. Glad to have you here in Devil Ray land. Look around and I think you will find some lineups that would be a bit better then yours with Aki hitting leadoff. :-o
As far as the young pitchers, no need to rush them up til they are ready. Calling them up now will only hurt their progression.

The optimum lineup i would like to see right now is:

Upton
Aki
CC
Young
Wigginton
Pena
Dukes
Riggans
Harris

Upton should be leading off. Second guy needs to be able to take pitches so that Upton can steal and the 2nd guy needs to be a good contact hitter -- thats Aki. I would like to see Young up to 4, he hit so well with men on and i think he deserves to be up in the lineup. I love Harris at nine becuase he creates a second leadoff man in the lineup to wrap around
