Huh? He's batting .333 right now and has only lost ABs because he got hit in the head with a bat.

Pinch hit today, so I think we can see some games later this week. I have him and Mauer, and both are questionable. Went with Doumit just so I didn't have to activiate Mauer and drop a player yet.

I'd like to see 4-5 games.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Pittsburgh Pirates OF Ryan Doumit (head) likely will return to the regular lineup May 30 against the San Diego Padres.

Looks like Wednesday, barring a setback. Should net you four games, since he's sure to sit one out somewhere between Wed and Sun.

May 29 According to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Pirates C Ryan Doumit (head) might not rejoin the starting lineup May 30, pending further concussion tests. Manager Jim Tracy described Doumit as doing "much, much better." KFFL
