Advice/Recommendations?

I believe this is the 3rd sig I've made. I made it last night and I thought I did an ok job but the more and more I look at it compared to others it just doesn't look right or as good. Any recommendations or advice is appreciated

check out some tutorials, i made a couple here, and i can get you more. For a third sig, thats actually really good....

you must have previous experience with photoshop then because thats a very nice sig for only a 3rd try.

I agree with Idaho that it's nice for a 3rd sig. One thing I would recommend would be to add some lighting around Lincecum to put the focus more on him, maybe work on blending the logo in more as well. But again you're off to a good start, keep practicing and looking at tuts and you'll get more and more advanced.

Yah I think I see the lighting problem now haha. Yah I'll check out some of the tutorials, I've already viewed most of the videos (extremely helpful btw) and that contributed to 99% of what I learned. I really have no experience doing this stuff and honestly figured PS was too complicated to learn but I had spare time one day last week and started messing around with GIMP and then PS. Anyways, it's encouraging words to hear from you guys, thanks

And Idaho, if you can point me to the direction of some of your tutorials that'd be awesome
