Sorry guys, my bad. I picked him up, checked out my team for at most 1 minute, went back to stat tracker and they were taking him out with the injury.

Its all my fault.

How about this one ... I picked up Phil Hughes in the 6th inning of his game against the Rangers. You know what happened in the 7th :~(

"Sergio Mitre left Wednesday's game in the fifth inning with a cramp in his right hamstring.

Mitre was hurt when he was hit by the throw to first on his sac bunt attempt. He struck out seven in four scoreless innings before leaving. Odds are that he'll make his next start."

Very nice outing today... unfortunately the stats are only showing up on my Watch List.

3 Ks, 4 hits, 0 BBs in 5 innings today vs the Braves.

Why did he come out after only 5 innings and 58 pitches? Did he re-injure his hammy or was it just precautionary?

looks like it was just precautionary...

CBS SPORTSLINE wrote:Florida's Sergio Mitre, pitching with a sore right hamstring, gave the Marlins more than they hoped for by throwing five scoreless innings in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday at Atlanta. He left after 58 pitches, allowing four hits, striking out three and extending his streak without allowing an earned run to 23 2/3 innings. "I wish I could have stayed out there longer," he said. "We were just trying to be careful."

I'm sure the pain was still there today as it was lingering into the weekend. I'm happy he only threw 58 innings although i think i would have been happier if he just skipped the start altogether. Although I dont have much invested in him, I'll just ride the wave til its over...
