Javier Herrera, CF prospect for the A's who had elbow surgery last year, has come on of late and before drew compairisons to Vernon Wells and Torii Hunter and his rocket arm is back.

I thought it was him, but you also said that he's close to be up. But he's in A+

Well, he's 22 and I believe he played at a higher level last year before getting hurt. So, I think he'll move quickly like they did with Buck.

Saying he'll be up this year is still a stretch, he wasn't hitting all that well last year before he got hurt and is only hitting okay so far in Stockton. Huge upside, but the A's system in general has been a let down this year.

I am green on prospects compared to others I am reading. Having said that. How does Rick Anakiel fit in the mix? I live in Round Rock, and I just watch him get 5RBI's 2HR's and a double aganist triple A Round Rock. Is he ready to re-enter the majors as on outfielder?

way old for level. poor strike zone judgment. Not going to be more than a .250 hitter with about 25HR power.

if he can have a solid career as an OF Ill be impressed with him and how he overcame whatever it was that make his pitching go to crap and then all hes gone through to work his way up as an OF
